 1.  LOFT CONVERSION AND EXTENSION: BEACH ROAD, EMSWORTH

Planning permission and building regulation approval were obtained to convert a loft space to a master bedroom, with two extensions, on a 1920's bungalow. The work to the roof was extensive, as the first floor area was increased in size. The clients employed their own builder: an unexpected problem arose with a new rear dormer window, and a planning appeal had to be made: the outcome was that the appeal was allowed. Work was completed recently, and the dwelling has been tranformed inside and out.

 2.  SINGLE STOREY REAR EXTENSION: ON MAIN MILL POND EMSWORTH

Originally the proposal was to build a two storey rear extension, but after careful consideration the clients decided to build a single storey extension, and planning permission and building regulation approval were obtained:  Subsequently it was decided to use part of the existing structure on much the same footprint: Construction is due to start early in 2012

3. JULIET BALCONY: FIRST FLOOR APARTMENT, EMSWORTH

The brief was to replace a living room window with a full length door, and railings as a Juliet balcony. A planning application was required as the property is an apartment. Planning Permission was obtained and work is now complete.

 

 


4. NEW CONSERVATORY: CONVERSION OF GARAGE TO EXTEND LIVING ROOM, EMSWORTH

The clients wished to convert their garage to extend the living room, and build a second conservatory to the front. Planning permission and building regulation approval were obtained, and the work has now been completed

 

 

 

 

 

 


5.  MODERNISATION OF 1930's HOUSE AND NEW CONSERVATORY, CLOVELLY ROAD, EMSWORTH

Clients purchased a house that required internal modernisation with some internal structural work. In addition they wished to have a 4m x 4m conservatory built: no planning permission was required: detailed drawings were prepared and an expert conservatory/builder provided a price for the work: the work has recently been completed
